The city of Canterbury has fulfilled throughout its long existence important roles for British history. It is located on the Stour River to 97 kilometers from London and its major attraction is the magnificent cathedral which from the 14th century maintains its stunning vertical Gothic style Crowned by an impressive Norman tower of 91 meters in height.
